Project Overview

Forbidden Cape is a unique South African brand dedicated to showcasing the country’s finest craftsmanship through exceptional local products. As part of the exclusive Forbidden Cape Club, members enjoy access to premium unlabelled wines sourced from top-tier wineries — rare surplus bottles that embody the same quality and character as their labelled counterparts. Each monthly curated case offers a sense of mystery, value, and privilege, delivering an unforgettable taste of South Africa’s wine excellence.

Forbidden Cape approached me to bring their vision to life online, developing their website from designs provided by a third-party designer. They wanted a dark, mysterious aesthetic to reflect the exclusivity and intrigue of their brand, which I translated into a polished, functional WordPress site. I continue to provide ongoing maintenance to ensure the site remains secure, up to date, and performing at its best.
